Complete a homebuyer counseling program
Qualified borrowers can make their hard-earned cash go further with assistance from Atlantic Union Bank
The Atlantic Union Bank Home Loans team may be able to help you realize the dream of being a homeowner. There are two grants available, designed for qualified borrowers who could use extra assistance when buying a home.
For Qualified First-Time Homebuyers
- Up to a $12,500* grant per household
- Homebuyer must contribute at least $1,000 toward the home purchase
For People Serving Our Local Communities
- Up to a $15,000* grant per household for current or retired law enforcement officers, educators, health care workers, firefighters or other first-responders, veterans, active-duty members of the U.S. military or their surviving spouse and other essential workers
- First-time and non-first-time homebuyers are eligible
- Homebuyer must contribute at least $1,000 toward the home purchase

*These funds are provided to member institutions, which in turn make them available for qualifying families with incomes at or below 80 percent of the county area median income or the state median family income, adjusted for family size as published by HUD, whichever is higher. Qualified borrowers can receive no more than $250 cash back at closing. This is not a commitment to lend or extend credit. All loans, credit and collateral are subject to approvals.
